Omar is an Instructional Technology Specialist at Region One ESC, where he’s been for over three years. Before that, he was a middle school teacher for 17 years. He has an M. Ed. in Educational Technology and certificates in eLearning and Leadership. He is also an Apple Distinguished Educator, an Apple Learning Coach, a Google Certified Educator and an Adobe Creative Educator Innovator. He advocates for equity and inclusion in every classroom and firmly believes that curiosity leads to exploration; exploration leads to creativity; and creativity leads to learning!

Fely Garcia Lopez is an experienced teacher with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. Skilled in Classroom Management, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, Public Speaking, and Teacher Training. Strong education professional with a Masters of Education Technology Leadership focused in Educational/Instructional Technology from Lamar University. She is currently part of the Microsoft Flip Team.

Dr. Matthew X. Joseph is currently the director of Supervision and Evaluation for the Brockton Public Schools. He has been a school and district leader in many capacities in public education over his 27 years in the field. Experiences such as the Executive Director of Teaching and Learning, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Director of Digital Learning and Innovation, elementary school principal, classroom teacher, and district professional development specialist have provided Matt with incredible insights on how to best support teaching and learning and led to nationally published articles and opportunities to speak at multiple state and national events. He is the author of Power Of Connections: Connecting Educators, Cultivating Professional Learning Networks, & Redefining Educator Collaboration, Stronger Together: The Power of Connections in a School Community, and co-author of Modern Mentoring, Reimagining Mentorship in Education.

Carl Hooker has spent the past 25 years in education as a teacher and administrator focused on the thoughtful integration of technology and innovation in schools. He consults for multiple districts across the country and is a frequent speaker at state and national events. He’s also a 7-time author, 5-time podcast host, advisor to multiple ed tech companies, and National Faculty Emeritus for Future Ready Schools. Carl is also the co-founder of K12Leaders.com – A social media platform made by educators for educators.
